At Cornerstone Christian Academy, we ignite minds and infuse faith into all that we do. Our students are learning how to collaborate and become critical thinkers – important skills for the 21st century workforce. Equally important, in the classroom academics are taught from a Christian perspective. Teachers at CCA faithfully mentor students in their spiritual journey and help them to recognize their God-given gifts and talents. We encourage you to explore our website and learn for yourself how CCA offers a distinctively Christian and academically rigorous education for students in Preschool through 12th grade. STEP 1
Step 1 – Application
Students submit a completed application including:
o A copy of the most recent report card and final report card from the previous year
o A copy of the most recent standardized test scores
o Birth Certificate
o Parent Questionnaire form
o Non-refundable application fee $100 per student (Payable Online)
STEP 2
Step 2 – References
Requests from student/parent should be mailed or electronically submitted to CCA from the following persons:
o Submit a Confidential Ministry Reference from the pastor of your congregation
o Submit a Confidential Teacher Reference form from previous teacher
o Submit a Request for Records and Discipline Report form from the previous school
STEP 3
Step 3 – Entrance Exam
Students will be given an entrance exam. The entrance exam aids in assessing the student’s performance. Qualified applicants to CCA must be working on grade level.
STEP 4
Step 4 – Family Interview
The interview is scheduled when the application is complete and all documents have been received by the school.
STEP 5
Step 5 – Approval
The Admissions Committee will review the completed documents and meet for final approval. The approval process is made carefully and prayerfully as CCA desires to meet the academic needs of each applicant it accepts. The parents will be notified of the approval status.
STEP 6
Step 6 – Enrollment
Students offered enrollment in CCA will be given an enrollment packet. The enrollment packet contains:
o Enrollment Agreement which specifies financial obligations
o School information regarding uniforms, school calendar, etc.
o Emergency Contact Form
o Health Records Request for immunization records
o Health Record Request for physical exam
o Request for any court order regarding custody of the child, if applicable.
